Since March of 1976, Beavens Systems, Inc. (BSI) has been dedicated to providing quality control systems.  Although not specializing in any particular industry, most projects have been in Food Processing, Water and Waste Treatment, Machine Automation, Energy Management and Process Management.

With installations world-wide, Beavens Systems has improved controls systems on five continents.  Projects span sewage collection and water distribution for the US Navy in Pearl Harbor, potable water systems in the Guam, telemetry systems in Taiwan, copper mines in Chile, sewage treatment in Barbados, potato processing in Idaho & Washington, gas turbine control in Hawaii & Bermuda, chemical neutralization in Goleta, pet food production in Mississippi / Missouri / Iowa, breakfast bars in Indiana, waste & potable water system throughout California & Hawaii, pasta sauce in Virginia, sausage production in Missouri, beer production in Mexico & wind turbines in the Atlantic Ocean (Ascension Island).

BSI developed Mod-Talk, the first data collection software for linking PLCs with a spreadsheet.  It was used initially with Lotus and then expanded to Symphony.  This software provided the first simple and cost effective method for collecting and managing data from the factory floor.  This software was sold world-wide.

Following the introduction of Mod-Talk, BSI developed SCADA-Vu, which became one of early DOS based SCADA software systems.  There are still a number of these systems active today, although most have been upgraded to Windows based systems (Intellution or Wonderware).

BSI has also designed 50+ custom electronic circuit boards, which have been used in many of our customer’s systems.  These systems range from PLC Pilot Lite and LED Display multiplexing to Level Monitors for DC3 crop duster aircraft, and Chemical Pump flow pacing.

For the past 15 years, BSI has provided all PLC/SCADA integration for Eastern Municipal Water District Water reclamation Plants. This includes all new expansion work as well as a separate contact for SCADA & PLC maintenance.  BSI has also been involved with all of their new Potable Water Plants.

BSI recently completed the Tank Farm, Batching and Dough Mixing for Fresh Start Bakery's new Ontario, CA plant.  This Bakery now has the highest production rate in the world. They provide Hamburger Buns and English Muffins for McDonalds Inc. & Jack in the Box.
